DINING Fresh seafood is easily available in Terengganu. The local cuisine uses a unique mix of spices. Most restaurants in the larger towns serve Malay, Chinese and Indian dishes while western food is available at the larger hotels and restaurants. Nasi Dagang (glutinous rice) is a specialty of the state. The rice is cooked in coconut milk accompanied by several side dishes of curries, cucumber, pickle and coconut sambal. |
