National Science Centre or Pusat Sains Neagara
Situated in a pleasant environment, the National Science Centre stands on a small hill in Bukit Kiara on the outskirts of Kuala Lumpur. The building is designed in the shape of a truncated cone and the whole structure is covered with a geodesic dome.

Established in 1996 to promote science and technology in Malaysia, the centre features themed exhibits such as An Environmental Odyssey, Pathways to Discovery, Future World and Thinking Machines.

Visitor interaction with the exhibits encourages and promotes interest in Science and Technology. Science is linked to the environment and religion, as well as to explain the use of scientific knowledge and applications in daily life.

The National Science Centre is open:

* Monday to Thursday: 9.00 am - 5.00 pm
* Friday: 9.00 am - 12.15 pm & 2.45 pm - 5.00 pm
* Saturday: 9.00 am - 1.30 pm
* The National Science Centre is closed on Sundays & Public holidays
