Bukit Larut, the smallest hill resort in Malaysia, is famous
for the lake gardens in the pretty town of Taiping, at its

done to landscape or 'tame' the nature here.
Gazetted as a permanent forest reserve in 1910, Bukit Larut's
untouched mountain forests are filled with bird life, squirrels
and gibbons roaming about freely. This resort is especially
popular with nature lovers, bird watchers and day-trippers
looking for a tranquil getaway.

Penang Hill, Penang
Just off Peninsular Malaysia's west coast, in the Straits
