Sitting pretty amidst the Pahang rainforest is the little hamlet of Fraser's Hill. At 1,524m above sea level, this highlands resort has innumerable plant, bird and animal species.

The resort-village is popular with those who are interested in nature activites such as trekking, bird watching, horse riding, fishing and camping.

Fraser's Hill owes its name to a Scottish trader, Louis James Fraser, who established a tin ore trading station in the forested mountains on the Selangor and Pahang border at the end of the 19th century.
